Our logo represents our future aspirations and acknowledges the value of our past. Our logo is strong and dynamic. Its shape forms the basis of much of our identity.
We’re bold, balanced and instantly recognisable.

Elements
The Landsec logo is made up of two elements: the cornerstone and the logotype. The logotype can’t be used independently, but the cornerstone can be used separately as a graphic device.

More about the cornerstone
Qualities
When the cornerstone is locked up with our name, we have a logo that represents our heritage and lays the foundations for our future.
It’s a visual representation of our brand idea – the place where experience is and experiences happen.
The cornerstone
The cornerstone can be used independently as a graphic device.

The logotype
The logotype can’t be used independently in any circumstance.

Colour
We only use our Landsec logo in black or white. Limiting our logo to black and white helps it to stand out against our other more flexible brand elements. It also ensures we maintain high quality legibility everywhere it appears.
More about colourBackgrounds
The Landsec logo can be used in black or white on any colour background, as long as there is sufficient contrast between the logo and the background.

Contrast
Use your own judgment when deciding whether to use a black or white logo for your project. Ideally, aim for maximum contrast and legibility. If you’re in doubt about the level of contrast, contact the Brand Team for advice.

The 45° angle
An angle of 45 degrees is referenced throughout our identity and forms a key foundation for many different elements. It creates a framework for grids and patterns.
More about the framework
Clear space
Clear space is an area of space around the edges of the Landsec logo used to protect its legibility from interference with other typographic and graphic elements. The visual on this page shows the minimum acceptable clear space.
Measurements
There is no fixed measurement for the clear space area, its size is proportional to the size of the logo. The clear space area is marked with the light grey tint and is measured using half of the depth of the cornerstone.
Maximum size
There’s no maximum size for the Landsec logo but its size should feel appropriate to the application.
Minimum size
The minimum size measurement ensures legibility. Do not use it smaller than the specified minimum shown below. Screen sizes are a guide. As technology advances further testing may be required.
Minimum size measurements
10mm print
40px retina screen
20px standard screen

Positioning
Our logo has a triangular shape with a left-facing vertical and horizontal at its base. Position it in either of the left hand corners of the work area or the bottom right.
Initiative and programme brands
Our logo can be used part of an identity for a Landsec initiative or programme. In this case the logo can use a colour for the identity.

Co-branding
Our logo can be used together with asset and partnership brands as a co-brand. In this case the logo can adopt one of the main colours used in the asset logo.
